Project

Through professional facilitation, local watershed leaders participate in an interactive, non-lecture workshop where they hear new perspectives, ask questions that matter, host conversations, tell stories of challenge and success, reflect, and identify their own next steps before returning home to ramp up local involvement and implement solutions.

Funding from Fishers & Farmers allows participants to walk away with conversational communication and listening skills, a newfound concept of learning together through ‘invitation’ - shifting from telling and knowing to invitation and inquiry, deeper knowledge of how to have difficult conversations, and an understanding that broad collective action is necessary to create widespread ecological change.
