Project

Mower County Soil and Water Conservation District is working with farmers, a consultant, Minnesota Department of Agriculture and other partners in the Root River Field to Stream Partnership on demonstrating Prairie Strips across 10-20 targeted sites. This effort will leverage a new Conservation Reserve Program in Minnesota that not only improves soil health and water quality, but also fish habitat.
