At this second workshop during Watershed Leaders Network’s pilot year, participants from six watershed groups in five states shared progress made since defining next steps for local work in August 2016. Peers learned more about each others’ land crops agriculture and conservation delivery systems social realities and challenges. They shared stories listened for common patterns asked their own important questions led dialogues to learn from each others’ experiences listened in new ways took time for local group work challenged each other and defined next wise actions for work at home.
One participant said later “I stood up in front of everyone at that meeting and announced our next step. And now, it’s happened!”
